We are currently actively seeking graduate students (MSc and potentially PhD) for a project on metabolic interactions and mortality in phytoplankton, in collaboration with Prof. Yeala Shaked from the IUI and Hebrew University:

Are you intesrested in microbiology, oceanography, phytoplankton-bacteria interactions and/or global biogeochemical cycles?

We are seeking motivated, curious, hard-working and creative graduate students (MSc or PhD)

for a collaborative project combining lab and field experiments, bioinformatic analyses and mathematical modeling at various scales.

Students from biology, environmental sciences, chemistry, engineering, biophysics, computer sciences or related disciplines are all welcome to apply. Experience with plant, algae or bacterial culturing, metabolism and geochemistry are an advantage.
